Public Notice of Draft TMDL Water Quality Study

The Division of Water Quality presents for public comment the draft Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Water Quality Study for the Bear River (in Cache County) and Cutler Reservoir. The purpose of the study is to identify the causes and sources of beneficial use impairment and set appropriate goals for restoring water quality. This TMDL study is available for public comment through February 6, 2009. A copy of the study can be obtained at any Cache County local library, the Cache County Extension office, The USDA Service Center, or on the web at: http://www.waterquality.utah.gov/
All data associated with the study is available in a zipped file (in MS Excel format) at the above web address.

There will be two public meetings held, January 20th at 2:00 p.m. and January 21st at 7:00 p.m. Both meetings will be in the Cache County Chambers (199 North Main, Logan UT). The meetings will highlight the findings of the study and allow for questions.
